What Does This Echocardiogram Report Indicate?
Question: I'm a 57 yr old female...I'm overweight but working on that......bp is a bit high. I had an echocardiogram done 6 months ago. No one called me back so I thought all was well. Last night I found out I have mild left atrium dialation and abnormal ventrical relaxation concurrent with grade 1 diastolic dysfunction. No one ever called me for a follow up. I have as call into the cardiologist but haven't heard back yet. Do I need to be as panicked as I feel?

- Increase physical activity to stabilize your weigh and BP
