What Does This Follicular Study Report Indicate?
Question: hi. i have PCOD for 7 years. Last month we consult with a gynecologist. she prescribed me ubiphone-50. I have taken this medicine from 3rd day to 8th day of my cycle. At 12 th day she sent me for follicular study. one dominant follicle (14x11mm) was shown in LO and RO was MSF. i had continued this up to 24th day. but the follicle doesn't grow much. Then she prescribed me deviry10 mg. I have taken it two times for 5 days. But i am not getting period after 7 days of stopping my tablet. so plz help.

Hi XXXX, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Withdrawal bleeding can occur within7-10 days of stopping the Deviry tablet. So you can wait for another 3-4 days for the periods to come.
However, pregnancy should be ruled out and I would therefore suggest you to get a urine pregnancy test done.
Your follicle has not grown to optimum size by clomiphene citrate 50 mg, hence you will be prescribed a higher dose in next cycle to assist in follicular growth and ovulation.
