What Does This Follicular Study Report Indicate?
Question: Hi,
I have gone thru Follicular Study (TVS Probe) this morning.
The report says
Uterus measures: 6.1 x 3.5 cms
Right Ovary measures: 3.2 x 1.8 cms
Left ovary measures: 2.3 x 1.3 cms
Follicles in right ovary: 2 DF noted
1.3 x 0.9 cms
1.5 x 0.9 cms
Follicles in left ovary : NoDF
Endometrial thickness: 7mm
Pouch of XXXXXXX : NoDF
Can you help understand these values and what are the normal range values expected in correspondence to my report.
Can I expect pregnency in this cycle or does it require any treatment for corrections.

I have gone through your history and understand your concerns.
Usually follicle size should be 16-22 mm in diameter to get rupture.
In one cycle their is only 20-25% chance of pregnancy.
In my opinion before going to any medical treatment one should try for atleast one year.
Your report is showing normal size of uterus and ovaries and follicle size is quite low and endometrial thickness is normal.
But before giving my opinion I would like to ask a few questions.
You had ultrasound scan on which day of menstrual cycle?
For how long you are trying to conceive?
Normal cycle length?
Are you having any medical condition or everything is normal?
What about your hormonal profile?
Please get back to me with your reports.

Its been 2 years to our marriage, trying if things work out normally with no luck.
Normal cycle length?
25 days and we used medication to correct if menstrual cycle is being early 5 days every month 6 months before. It was 30 days cycle while using tablets and again normal back to 25 days cycle from past 6 months once I left tablets.
Are you having any medical condition or everything is normal?
Normal.
What about your hormonal profile?
Not sure the answer for this question. suggest if you want me to get any investigation to know hormonal profile.

Because as you said in 25 days cycle usually ovulation occur around 11th -12th day.
If you had sex around your ovulation time and your follicle size increases upto 18-22 mm. than it may get rupture and chances of pregnancy is there.
As you are trying from last 2 yrs.with no success rate( with all normal reports) in my opinion you should check for whether you are ovulating or not.
You can go for hormonal profile( LH, FSH, prolactin, thyroid,testosterone, estrogen levels).
Can you please send your ultrasound report and husband semen analysis report?so I will be able to guide you better.
Are you overweight?

Tablets All-9 for 3 months when I tried for pregnancy and left / not using from Feb 2015 after trying for 3 months. Appreciate your help on complete study on my reports and provide a good direction.

Is he taking something to improve his sperm motility?
Your report is fine but are you calculating your ovulation time and fertility period?
Have you done your hsg ( hysterosalpingography) test?
Your thyroid and prolactin levels are fine or not?
You can continue all day 9 tablets which are helpful to conceive fast.
