Brief Answer:
Egg released

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX,

Let me welcome you to my virtual clinic at Health Care Magic!

I will discuss your stated report point wise:

1. It is day 14 of your cycle. If your cycle is 28 days, it is 14 days prior to the next expected menses when the egg gets released. So this is the most ideal day for an egg to get released (Ovulation).

2. Your left ovary has not ovulated; however your right ovary has ovulated. One side ovulation is sufficient and normal for fertilization.

3. Your Endometrium is >10 mm in thickness. This is good development of the endometrium for implantation of fertilized ovum.

So, from this report, it is clearly evident that your ovulation has taken place and the uterus is ready to receive the fertilized egg. This is the day you should utilize for having sexual contact for fertilization.

It is not possible to say whether the egg has got fertilized or not at this stage with the usual available investigations. For knowing about the fertilization, you have to wait till you miss your period. On the day of your expected menses or within a couple of days after that, please get your Beta hCG test done which can give you any evidence about the pregnancy. Later, about 8-10 days after missed period, you may get urine test done for detection of pregnancy and/or may get ultrasonography done for direct visual evidence of pregnancy.

Would you please give me your menstrual details: periodicity, duration, regularity, etc.? Also if you have undergone any investigations for infertility, please upload the images and reports for my review. Please upload the report and the images of this ultrasonography also.

I am sure this will make your concept about detection of pregnancy clear. If you need to have any more information, you may please ask me. I am always available for you Harika.
