And do i have a chance of survival with so much problems. We dont have a family history of sugar. And i m really hopless. Plz guide .
Their are other causes of diabetes
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome.
This is Dr Sameer, cardiologist from Fortis hospital.
First i would like to break your myth about diabetes. It is not caused because of excess intake of sweets. Diabetes is actually a autoimmune disease with multifactorial causes. Actually our pancreas which forms insulin(to metabolise glucose) gets attacked by some chemicals which are formed in our body against it(antibody). This causes decline in function of pancreas & thus decreased or defective insulin formation & thus Diabetes.
Hypertension is completed different from Diabetes & hypertension does not cause diabetes.
Coming now to control & future risks.
You have very high HbA1c (which tells glucose control for 3 months). This means the diabetes has been there for some time but not detected.
Complications in diabetes can be involvement of eye(retina), kidney or nerves & long term uncontrolled glucose can effect heart also.
I will recommend you for certain tests - Kidney function test, evaluation of retina by a ophthalmologist & a TMT examination.
If diabetes remains in control & complications does not develope than you need not worry & just continue taking medication & keep dietary restrictions.
Hope this answer helps.
Thanks & take care

Diet as advised ahead
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Welcome back.
I went through your reports. And its good that their is no protein in urine means kidney is not affected.
Cholesterol is high and you just need dietary modifications & few lifestyle change.
About diet decrease fat intake to lowest. If you have to take, use olive oil, stop junk food, stop things that gives you instant energy like potatoes, sweetcorn. Limit intake of sweet & rice.
Drink lot of water & do regular exercise (at least 30min of brisk walk per day). Stop alcohol(if you are taking any). Get blood sugar done regularly & do the tests i told you in previous answer.
Come back if you need any more help.
Thanks & take care
