Hi Dr XXXXXXX Banerjee I have uploaded my reports I think there is some problem with the LIPID test vitamin and cholesterol Please suggest if any medicine will solved my problem or exercise Report uploaded on name XXXX XXXXXXX
Brief Answer:
follow the advises.. maintain a healthy lifestyle..
Detailed Answer:
Welcome back XXXXXXX
Yes, I've received and reviewed the reports,
Majority of them are within normal limits only, however there's a borderline elevation of the Triglyceride and the VLDL (bad cholesterol) along with borderline decrease in the HDL(good cholesterol), along with severe Vit D3 deficiency as well as low calcium level, which has to corrected with proper supplementation as below..the raised alkaline phosphatase is also most likely secondary to this deficiency..
Vitamin D3 60,000 IU Once a Week for next 12 weeks (available in both Capsule as well as XXXXXXX form, please check with your local pharmacy for availability), you can take it with or after meals..
After completion of 12 weeks, Vitamin D3 1000 IU (available in both Capsule as well as XXXXXXX form) Once daily for next 3 months..
Tab Calcium Carbonate or Calcium Citrate 500 mg Once daily after food for next 3 months.. (All these are prescription based medication, so please get the appropriate prescription from your local physician)..
You need to get the Vitamin D3 level and serum Calcium levels checked after this to decide on further course of action..
Your BMI is mentioned 27 which is a bit overweight so start, Outdoor activities like daily jogging, walking, exercises in daytime.. along with this few minutes of daily sunlight exposure of the body(15-20 min in the morning ~ 8-10 am), as it'll help in natural synthesis of Vitamin-D in the body..
Foods i.e. Milk (fortified, available in all big supermarkets and dept. stores) and milk products like yogurt, buttermilk, cheese etc., hard boiled eggs, lean meat like chicken, fish(mainly sea fish eg. sardine, tuna, herring, cod etc.), ground nuts, mushrooms, sesame seeds, almonds etc. along with avoidance of red meats (once a week consumption is fine) will be beneficial.. also try to replace your regular wheat/flour containing foods to whole grain/whole wheat products..
Avoid junk foods, processed foods(burger, pizza etc.) and packaged fruit juices, try to eat fresh seasonal fruits instead..avoid smoking, if you do..Drink plenty of water(3-3.5 ltr per day), staying well hydrated is extremely important too as it'll not only help increasing the body's metabolism but also helps to flush the toxins out..
It's a gradual process, so please follow these above mentioned advises to yield the maximum benefits..Sunlight exposure alone is not sufficient to compensate this, so the combination of all those approaches should be initiated at the earliest..
Regarding the ECG,it's just a printed impression, it can be just an incidental finding which may not be significant, it has to be clinically confirmed with the actual ECG strip and after a brief visit to any Internal Medicine specialist who'll examine you once(he/she will also provide you those necessary prescriptions for the medications as already mentioned)..please stop smoking, if you do..
I've tried to make it as simple as possible for you to understand, let me know if there's any further queries..
