Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query on this platform. I can understand your concern. According to your statement, you have been suffering from a lump on the tip of the tongue.

Such type of bumps is common and normal in nature. They will go on their way without any medical treatment. Bumps on the tip of the tongue may result from various reasons such as tongue injury due to any causes like tongue biting, inflamed papillae or lie bumps, allergic reactions due to irritant, foods or medications, any type of infections such as bacterial infection, oral thrush, oral herpes, canker sore and many more.

You can avoid hot, spicy foods, brush your teeth twice daily, avoid using alcohol containing mouth wash, avoid alcohol and sigrette smoking, rinse your mouth with salt mixed XXXXXXX warm water 2-3 times daily.

If this lump persists for more 14 days, then consult your doctor for undergoing Biopsy from the tongue bump for detecting the underlying causes.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for joining again. The colour of bump into n tongue may change with time due to repeated injuries like tongue biting, in healing process,, new bacterial infections, vitamin B2 deficiency, iron deficiency, repeated exposure to allergens or irritants, hormonal changes, certain medications and many more.

If you think that your bump on tongue's colour changing is not related to common causes like tongue biting, exposure to allergens or irritants, vitamins or iron deficiencies, certain medications etc or it persists for long time, then you should consult your doctor for undergoing biopsy from the bumps to exclude causes and then treat them accordingly.

You can follow the above measures to cure your colour changing bump on tongue.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
