![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: OK, just got pathology report and I have invasive ductal carcinoma, 1.3 cm at 10:00 rt breast. Cannot see a surgeon until tomorrow. What do I need to know about it? Historic grades: all 2's.
Brief Answer:
It can be cured
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.
This is a curable scenario. The lump is small and even though it is cancer, chances of cure are very high.
Most likely you will need to undergo a breast conservation surgery followed by radiotherapy. Depending upon final histopathology report after surgery, you may need further treatment like hormone therapy or chemotherapy.
Hope this helps.
Regards
