What Does This Semen Analysis Indicate?
Question: Hello- my fiancé had a sperm test at a fertility clinic but they referred us to a Urologist after my fiancee asked.
results non- optimal motility, teratozoospermia. He has not shared the results with me and has been avoiding the Urologist- I can only assume from research that he is infertile- 99%v mixed head defects.
thoughts?

Brief Answer:
You need to post Semen Analysi report for precise opinion .
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that your fiance has done his semen analysis which as per your statement has been reported to have Terratozoospermia suggesting morphological abnormal sperm to the extent of 90%.
In absence of detail semen analysis report It is very difficult for any Dr to make any precise comments regarding fertility of a individual.
If the report is true (as per your statement) he is unlikely to impregnate you.
Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

Hello
Thanks for follow up.
The exogenous Testosterone taken in high doses and for long period does cause reduction in Sperm Production and sperm count (Oligospermia) but has no effect on morphology of sperms .The cause of Terratozoospermia is still not known .
