What Does This Semen Analysis Report Indicate?
Question: HELLO SIR
PLEASE REFER MY MEDICAL HISTORY.
AFTER TAKING FSH INJECTION ON 3RD 5TH 7TH & 9TH DAY OF PERIOD & ALSO TAKING MEDICINE CLOMIPURE, LYNORAL YCYST FORT , I HAD VISITED MY DOC ON 14TH DAY OF MY PERIOD.THEN SCANNING WAS DONE & MY DOC SAID THERE ARE 7 (20 MM) EGGS IN BOTH OVARIES, THEN HE INJECTED HCG INJECTION ON 14TH DAY ITSELF & ASKED ME TO DO IUI. THE VERY NEXT DAY I.E. ON 15TH DAY OF PERIOD IUI WAS DONE. DOC HAS GIVEN MIPROGEN SR 300 TABLETS FOR 10 DAYS.
MY QUESTIONS ARE AS BELOW.
1) WHAT ARE THE CHANCES IN MY CASE AS YOU KNOW MY MEDICAL HISTORY
2) PLEASE EVALUATE MY SCANNING REPORT & SPERM ANALYSIS OF MY HUSBAND ( BOTH REPORTS ATTACHED)
3) IF THIS IUI IS FAILED, WHAT WILL BE NEXT PROCEDURE TO BE APPLIED?
4) WHETHER FSH INJECTIONS ARE TO BE REPEATED?
5) WHETHER ALL THESE MDICINES ARE SAFE TO BE TAKEN?

1. Your chances are good. IUI chance of success in any couple is between 10 to 20 percent.
2. Your scanning report as well as husband's semen analysis report are excellent and not to worry.
3. If this IUI is failed, try naturally for another month and go again for IUI if you dont conceive.
4. These FSH injections need not be repeated as you have enough number of follicles.
5. These medicines are safe. Dont worry.

1) SIR, AFTER IUI WE HAD INTER COURSE ONLY 2 DAYS OUT OF 3...IS THAT ENOUGH OR WE SHOULD HAVE DONE IT ON ALL 3 DAYS...

1. IUI it self is enough for pregnancy after ovulation. If you had sex for another 2 days it gives additional advantage.
2. You have to wait for 5 days after missed period and do urine pregnancy test at home.

2. FSH injections will work only in the cycle in which the injections are used.
3. Each cycle is different and does not improve the chances.
