What Does This Semen Analysis Report Indicate?

Question: Hi, my name is XXXXXXX did a semen analysis and the result is as follow, sperm count 100 thousand cell per ml, viscosity; hyperviscous, app; milky, PH; 8.5, motility, 0% active, 35% moderate/sluggish, 65% non motile, Morphology 50% normal, 50% abnormal pus cell, 3-5phf, Epith; 1-2phf, viability for 30mins 40%. Pls how can I increase the sperm cell and active motility

Hi,

I saw your semen analysis report.

Your semen analysis is excellent except for marginal reduced motility of sperms.

You need to follow advice below:

1. Stop smoking and alcohol if you have habits.

2. Exercise regularly at least once daily.

3. If you are overweight, try to reduce weight by having low calorie diet.

4. Wear loose undergarments to prevent heat rise in pants.

Overall picture is not bad and definitely you will see improvements. You dont need medicines at this stage.

Pls I need to knw what to do to increase the sperm call count cos it is very low

Semen analysis report done once should not be believed and preferable repeated in another lab as there could be error of observation between 2 individuals in different laboratories. So please repeat semen analysis in another laboratory.
