Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .

Based on the report of your semen analysis that you have posted I would like to make comments as detailed below

1) Appearance ,viscosity .liquefaction time ,reaction and fructose are normal .

2)As regards sperm count of 46 millions in 3 ml of semen comes to 15.5 millions per ml which is slightly lower than the WHO standards (20-60 millions per ml.)

3) As regards motility of sperms it is active grade motility of 20 % is considered to be within normal accepted range by infertility centers all over the world. These are the sperms which are capable of fertilization of female egg to result into pregnancy.Since your active motile sperm count is 35 you need not worry about it .

4) Morphology of the sperm is normal and within accepted range .

5) Presence of 4-6 pus cells suggests infection either in Seminal Vesicle or Prostate and needs to be treated with antibiotics like Doxicycline for 4-6 weeks .

Hope I have answered your query .Please feel free to ask if you have more questions .

Thanks and Regards.

Thanks for replying. I have couple of doubts.

1) The sperm count is 46.6 millions/ml. The volume is 3ml. So, shouldn't the total sperm count be 139 millions. ?

2) Should i follow any food diet to improve my fertility more..?

3) When should i take the retest of the sperm analysis..?

Thank you again.
