Fatty liver disease
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.
I went through your post.
According to your ultrasound scan, you are having fatty liver.
The liver function tests show mildly increased SGPT which could be due to fatty liver. I presume you do not drink alcohol.
Good to see that you are negative for Hep B and Hep C.
Hepatral is a good medication to treat fatty liver. You can continue taking it as per your doctor's advise. In addition the following has to be done.
1. Weight reduction if obese
2. Check your blood glucose and cholesterol and treat them if they are found to be high.
Repeat liver function test and ultrasound scan 3 months after treatment.
I hope that answers your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr.R.K.

my queries are
1. Is this a serious disease that threatens my life?
2. Is Fatty Liver Disease is curable with the Heptral medicine completely? How long it will take to cure entire disease...
3. How long should I take the Heptral medicine and how many times I have to take in a day... that is before food or after food?
4. What type of diet I have to take on daily basis?
5. this is not the Cirrhosis disease naa?
No, this is not cirrhosis
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
No it is not a serious disease.
Fatty liver is reversible if the risk factor is treated. Heptral hastens the process.
You can take twice a day after food till fatty liver is reversed. You can take it for 3 months first, get liver function test and ultrasound scan done again to decide whether to continue it.
Avoid fatty food.
No, this is no cirrhosis of liver.

Dr.R.K.
