Question: Hi,
I am having left side ovary and center pelvic pain. I had my right ovary and tube removed in january of this year. I had an ultrasound in the ER this week and it showed a 17mm cyst and said my uterus was 90x47x35mm. As well as no blood flow to my ovary.

I want to know if this is normal and what is causing my severe pain?

Brief Answer:
ovulation pain

Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
I understand your anxiety relayed to the issue.
It seems you have become overly sensitive after the January surgery.
This most likely is ovulation pain and the cyst in ovary is corpus luteum which is formed in all cycles after ovulation.
Can you please tell me the date of your last periods and the day you had this pain when you got the ultrasound so that I can advice you better.
Regards
Dr Manisha

Brief Answer:
Urine pregnancy test advised

Detailed Answer:
This is then your missed period or you have irregular and prolonged periods always.
In either case do a urine pregnancy test and in case negative nothing to worry as mist likely this pain is just a bowel disturbance and will be fine with simple antispasmodic like hyosimax tablet.
In case test is positive then get an ultrasound at the earliest.
In case you have any questions about it, I will be glad to answer.
