What Does This Ultrasound Report Indicate?
Question: I went to my obgyn for my annual and shared that I've had pelvic cramps not related to having my period. She ordered me an ultrasound and as it was done the screen showed a white spot that looked like a white jellybean. I then asked the technician to turn it off because I was getting anxious. Is that kind of a spot Normal? Alarming? Waiting on results and very nervous. I've not had bleeding or pain urinating. The cramps are dull and not sharp.
Brief Answer:
Do not panic
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Cramps in the lower abdomen can be due to pelvic infection, fibroids in the uterus or some bowel pathology.
White spot in the ultrasound can be the normal uterine lining, fibroid or ovaries.
I suggest you not to get nervous and get a detailed ultrasound done to confirm the diagnosis and get appropriate treatment.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Thank you. So in your opinion a smaller white spot is not consistent to what cancerous signs may look like or that alone is not a cause for concern (in conjunction to the cramps)?
