Question:
Thyroid ultrasound was performed. The right lobe measures 5.5 cm in

length x 2.7 cm x 2.4 cm, left lobe Measures 5.0 cm in length x 2.6 cm x 2.3 and the

isthmus measures cm0.6 in thickness.

In the midpole of the right thyroid lobe is a 1.6 x 1.2 cm solid, isoechoic nodule. In the lower pole is a 1.3 x 1.0 cm heterogeneous, solid nodule. In the lower pole is a 1.0x 0.9 cm heterogeneous solid nodule. In the midpole is a 0.7 cm cyst.

In the midpole of the left thyroid lobe is a 1.2 x 0.8 cm solid, heterogeneous nodule. In the lower pole is a 0.9 cm similar nodule. In the lower pole is a 1.7 x 0.8 cm Similar module. In the lower pole is a I.5x1.2 cm similar nodule.

Diffusely enlarged thyroid gland With discrete nonspecific solid nodules bilaterally as described. Dominant nodules are amenable to ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration.

Good day,
I had answered your question earlier. Hope you saw that. However, I viewed attached pdf copy of your ultrasound report as well in this question.
You have an enlarged thyroid gland with multi nodular goiter. The next step would be to do a Thyroid function test ( Free T4 and TSH). If the TSH is high or normal, we need to do a needle test ( FNA) from the solid nodules. If the TSH is low, we need to plan for a nuclear scan and decide further.
