Hello
Thanks for the query
It is known that people with polycystic ovaries have difficulty in conceiving. You are on the right treatment for it and you must continue. However what is more important is that must lose weight. Studies have shown that chances of conceiving increases as the person loses weight. You are only 29 and there are good chances of you getting pregnant. Many of my patients have conceived and are now happy.
I also suggest Yoga and meditation as adjunct treatment while trying to conceive
I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me
Regards

Hello
Thanks for getting back. I am sorry for the short delay in my reply, I was on call at my hospital.
Your ideal body weight would be around 40 to 54 kgs. At times Clomid take about 4-6 weeks to act, so thats about 2-3 months. Please continue the therapy you are on right now.
I must also add here that you can get yourself a follicular scan, it is a scan done to see for any active follicles, it used to accurately predict ovulation

Hello
Thanks for getting back
You will need an another scan to know the status of your cysts.
When it comes to diet here is what I recommend
1. It is very important to be focused and determined to lose weight
2. Avoid sugar and fat by all means
3 Exercise everyday without fail. Make it part of your day
4. Drink lots of water
I know the above diet plan is very basic, it will help if you meet a dietitian for a more comprehensive one

I am extremely sorry for the delay. I agree with your doctor that there might not be much change in the scan. However he can help your with follicular study of the ovaries to see for ovulation. Enquire about it.
