What Does This Urinalysis Indicate?

Question: Hi
For almost a month now iv been feeling the urge to urinate. Its an annoying feeling. I dont have inconstancy, just the urge. What could be causing this? Had a pelvic exam, ob/gyn doesnt see anything out of the normal. Urologist just put me on antibiotics but it doesnt seem to be doing anything.
Can you tell what is going on from my results?

You have UTI (urinary tract infection)

The urine report shows bacteria, wbc and the culture shows GRAM POSITIVE COCCI.

You will need antibiotics but the correct ones.

you should get a urine culture antibiotic sensitivity done.

It will tell which antibiotic to start.

Im on antibiotic. My physician told me that although i have bacteria, its not enough to be a UTI. I already took cipro for 5 days and im on day 5 of keflax. Im still feeling the urge. Is this normal?
Im really nervous that this will never go away. I hear of overactive bladder and IC.

An infection is an infection .

YEs for it to be called UTI it needs to be 100000 and you have 9000.

But it is still there and causing trouble.

Continue with antibiotics but the correct ones.

Has he started after an antibiotic sensitivity report as blindly starting any antibiotic will not work.

Also drink plenty of water as it clears away the bacteria.

Dont think he did a sensitivity report. Maybe they did it yesterday (when I went to my ob/gyn) I hope you are right and it will clear up when I get the right meds.
