What Does This Urine Culture Report Indicate?
Question: Occasional pus cells, occasional epithelial cells and gram negative bacilli were seen.
Isolate - 1 : Klebsiella oxytoca.
Colony count : > 100000/ml.
This is the my urine culture report.
Now I am 60 days after my delivery. Vaginal delivery with episiotomy.
Suffering from reddness in my inner vulva after delivery and it burns when I urinate..
What's my problem? I'll it resolve?

Brief Answer:
Urinary tract infection
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
You have urinary tract infection (burns when urinate) following vaginal delivery and the causative organism is Klebsiella oxytoca. You have to take a course of antibiotic as per antibiotic sensitivity report (it must be attached with culture report ) for a period of 5-7 days. Before completion of the course of antibiotic you have to repeat urine routine examination and preferably culture also. Redness on inner vulva is most likely related to infection .Consult gynecologist .
