UTI possible cause. Other causes also need to be considered
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
The report suggests that it could be an urinary tract infection. It is good that the antibiotic has been started. Please complete the course. But since the pus cell count is not increased, I suggest that you talk to your doctor about ruling out other possible kidney causes of protein leaking out through the filtering membrane of the kidneys.
The urine report could be an incidental finding in an asymptomatic kidney condition like nephrotic syndrome (it could also have other findings as well). The blood pressure needs to be measured in that case. A Streptococcal sore throat could also trigger a condition called nephritis.
Please do not panic. Just talk to your treating physician and he would be able to guide you further.
Hoping for a quick recovery.
