I am on holiday - could this be a sign of anxiety? Also i am on ramipril and amlodipine for bp
Brief Answer:
Yes there are chances of these being signs of anxiety.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome to Health Care Magic. Thank you for writing back to us. I can understand your concern.
Anxiety itself is an illness which can present as pain in the back, chest pain, breathlessness , stomach ache, trembling legs, sweaty palms and can even get increased heart rate.
I would suggest you to
- not to be so anxious
- continue Ramipril and amlodipine
- if the back pain does not subside, I would start tablet Hifenac SR and tablet ranitidine
- practice relaxation techniques like consciously breathing in and out for 5 minutes a day. This will help you to relax
If you experience any chest pain or excessive breathlessness or palpitations visit ER to get an EKG done.
For the time being Enjoy the holiday.
Have a nice day.
Regards.
