What Does Yellow Discharge After Intercourse Indicate?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Possible Diagnosis: Sexually transmitted infection
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic for your health concern
Your history of unprotected intercourse and yellowish discharge raises the concern for sexually transmitted infection, specifically chlamydia, and gonorrhea.
Urethral swab microscopy and culture analysis will confirm the diagnosis. Once confirmed, antibiotics should be initiated.
Meanwhile, avoid unprotected intercourse to prevent transmission to the partner. I'd suggest using condoms all the times.
Please be advised to follow up with your primary care provider for further evaluation and management.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
Some women can have chlamydia/gonorrhea without pain. I Have seen the picture you attached. The yellowish discharge is copious. During ovulation the discharge will be clear to white and watery. Yellow copious discharge defenitely require evaluation to rule out STI. Please be advised to undergo vaginal swab testing (sorry for mistakingly mentioning urethral swab in above answer).
It is defenitely worth it and important to undergo testing as persistent STIs can cause future complications.
