What Does Yellowish Coating On The Tongue Of An Infant Indicate?
Question: Dear Doctor, my son is 7 months old and has a yellowish coating on his tongue. We showed it to his paediatrician who prescribed candid lotion to be put in his mouth. He doesn't let me put anything in his mouth after the first time that I tried to apply the lotion. Shuts it tightly or starts crying and fussing. What are the other symptoms that I should be looking for oral candidiasis and how does it affect the baby? Can it go by itself?
