What Good Alternatives Are There To Doing Surgery For Oral Surgery ?

Bad bacteria are reported to be accumulating in those pockets, and at present I am unable to get into them to do proper cleansing at home.
Also, what good alternatives are there to doing surgery for this purpose?
Once do a proper deep cleaning

Hiii first of all thank you for approaching us with your query. I read through your query. I must say that first of all you should meet a periodontist (specialised in gum diseases). They will do deep scaling of the pockets and gums. Then they will wait for few weeks to check for the healing and depth of the pocket. If its fine then no need for surgery. Many instances the pocket will be reduced with this stage. If still pocket depth is not reducing, then periodontal surgery will be required. Other alternatives for surgery are less. Because once the pockets depth are increasing the strength of gum and surrounding bone around the teeth will b reduced eventually there will be shaking of tooth and it will fall off. So its better to meet a specialist in gum tells(periodontist) not a oral surgeon or general dentist. Hope you understood what I meant. Thankyou and have a healthy day. Dr Rohit

I returned from my third visit two days ago with the recommendation of surgery, and I was concerned to get another expert opinion, and to see what are my alternatives, before agreeing to make the appointment to do the surgery.
So my question to you now is this: now that I have provided this information , do you have any additional comments or advice that might help me to decide whether to go ahead with the recommended surgery? Thanks in advance.
Go ahead with the surgical procedure

Hi,
Thank you for your follow-up query.
I read through it and I must say that, first of all, it's good that you met a periodontist regarding this problem. Since you have undergone deep scaling already. The only option next left is the surgical correction of the issue.
Gum, once gone down, doesn't grow back of its own. We have to surgicaly correct it...No other alternatives are there like medications or anything to correct the issue. So I suggest you go ahead with the surgical correction.
Hope you understood what I meant.
Thank you and have a healthy day.
