Dear
Thanks for contacting with your health concern and after reviewing your health query I'm of the following opinion:
. It could possibly be androgenic alopecia, get a direct opinion from a Trichilogist.
. Do let me know about the dosage of the medications prescribed and about whether dietary regime is indicated or not?
. Any family history of the same?
. Any Alternative medicine suggestions asked earlier or adopting the same?
Do revert back with your concerns.

Thank you for the answer Doc.
I am also having the medicine SIL along with FA / BA / PHO & LYC. I am having this twice daily (Morning and Night before food) - 6 tablets each. We have a family history of baldness (Both from my mother and Father side). I am not on any specific diet.
I am hesitant to have English medicines on this situation as I feel homoepathy does not have any side effects.

1. The medicine suggested by you along with the dosage are in proper regime and you should continue with them as advised, however after reviewing your family history and not on any specific dietary regime, I’m of the following opinion:
i. Ask for scalp biopsy and related blood tests to find out any other autoimmune disease,
ii. In the meantime preventive aspect is given:
. avoid oily, spicy, fried, and leftover food.
. avoid too much exposure to heat, dry and windy climate.
. avoid combing wet hair, cover your hair while driving bike or travelling to prevent undue exposure to pollutants.
. Avoid Stress and have a good sleep, along with regular morning walk of 45 minutes.
. massage lightly with Mahabhringraj oil at night (before retiring to bed) .
. After bath make sure you avoid vigorous toweling of hair, let them dry naturally.
. Make less choice for synthetic hair oils, hair coloring, bleaching, styling and use of dry blowers.
. Avoid excessive exposure to sun, heat, wind, dust, anger, stress, anxiety,
. Avoid oily, fried, spicy, hot, fermented and stale food.
. Proteins are essential for antibodies production so milk, egg (white), beans, yogurt, soymilk, pumpkin, squash, watermelon, peanuts, almonds, if non-vegetarian (meat) are choices .
. XXXXXXX carrots, cantaloupe, egg yolk, apricots, pumpkin, papaya, are ideal .
. Vitamin C: is needed for proper functioning of immune system: amla is good option.
. Vitamin E: is a powerful antioxidant thus peanuts, dried apricots, cooked spinach, taro root can be taken.
. Soap nut, along with shikakai+bhringraj acts as a natural conditioner.
PS.
1. If a close family member [your father] has the disease, the risk of developing it is slightly increased [genetic predisposition].
2. If your father lost his first patch of hair before age 30, the risk is greater [enquire about this].
3. since it could be an autoimmune disease, thus initially we have to start with Immunomodulation [Rasayan Chikitsa] Treatment and later restore to non- surgical hair replacement [if you believe hair loss is psychologically traumatic [ from cosmetic point of view], for that I usually give my patient(s) medicine to reduce the oxidative stress and which helps build the immunity of the patient, if Interested I can courier you the 3 month package.
PS. consult a trichologist for MPB [male pattern baldness]
