Question: Hello Sir/Maam My wife is 7 weeks 6 days pregnant. we have done our 2nd pregnancy scan today where CRL is 15.2 mm, Heart rate is 162 bpm, single yolk sac with normal size and location seen, normal amnion noted, CERVIX : IOS closed, no funnelling, adequate in length, No myoma detected, single intrauterine gestational sac of regular shape. At last its written that there is a choriodecidual seperation of 11X 4 mm seen. Now my question is 1) Is the report normal 2) IS there anything to worry about the CHORIODECIDUAL SEPERATION 3) What is Choriodecidual seperation mean?

It is a IVF pregnancy.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
I have gone through your history and reports and understand your concerns.
Your reports are suggestive of subchorionic hematoma and small bleed in your ultrasound.
It is due to placental leak, nothing to be worried about it, it will absorb automatically.
You have to take proper rest and avoid any physical activity and sex to avoid bleeding.
You can take progesterone as well to support pregnancy.
Drink a lot of warm water and soft diet and lifestyle changes are required in your case.
Hope found useful, feel free to ask more information.
Good luck
