Brief Answer: generic format of diazepam Detailed Answer: Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic You do not have to pay a monthly fee. It is a generic form of diazepam. Diazepam is an old drug. After the patent of a drug has expired then other companies can start manufacturing and distributing the medication. They would do so under different names but the medication should be essentially be the same. Different companies may have slightly different manufacturing techniques and there are usually slight changes but the strengths, mode of action and side effects would be quite similar. It is a generic form of the diazepam and should work for you. You should start at the dose recommended by your doctor, normally 2.5 mg to 5 mg at night. I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
