What Is A Normal PSA Range?
Question: What is a normal PSA Range? I am 72 and a recent blood test showed it to be 2.31.
Brief Answer:
Your PSA is normal
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for your question.
It varies slightly in different labs, but in most labs any PSA test result under 4.0 is considered normal. Your number of 2.31 is well below that and so is normal. I see no reason for you to contact a urologist at this time unless you are having urinary tract symptoms such as slow stream or pain.
