What Is A Normal White Blood Count For An Elderly Woman Of 89 Years Old?
Question: Hi, What is a normal white blood count for an elderly woman, 89 years old?
Hello,
Thanks for the question.
Normal range varies slightly between laboratories, but is generally between 4,300 and 10,800 cells per cubic millimeter (cmm).
One study has show 6,600 cells per cubic millimeter (cmm) as average level of WBCs in female above 85 years of age.
Hope this answers your question.
Regards.
