Amyloidoses is a condition wherein a toxic insoluble protein produced in the body gets accumulated and deposited in multiple organs like kidney, liver, brain, heart etc.

Symptoms in amyloidoses are diverse diverse, mostly the symptoms are due to damage to the organs along with generalized weakness, muscle pains , weight loss etc

How does a doctor determine if a person has this problem and what are the reasons/ symptoms that would cause a doctor to run tests to determine if a person has this medical problems.

When a person has diverse symptoms, like headache, andem pain, cough,, loose stools, vomitting, etc symptoms pertaining multiple organs , then amyloidoses tests are ordered.

Tests like Ultrasound scan, 2D Echo
Plasma Electrophoresis
Biopsy from multiple organs subjected to histopathological examination is done..
