What Is Causing Severe Acid Reflux Despite Being On Cymbalta?
Question: I have severe bloating and uncomfortable feeling in my stomach and it is accompanied by severe acid reflux.
I was also diagnosed with fybermyalga for which I am taking cymbalta, which helped instantly. For some reason water seems to trigger the heartburn more than anything else.

Brief Answer:
Water increases reflux
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
You seem to have dyspepsia. Water would surely increase contents in stomach slows digestion and aggravate reflux.
Just keep nil oral. Take Mylanta or any anti-ulcer that you have at home. Generally activated charcoal helps bloating by absorbing gases in stomach like FLATULEX.
Do not lie down. If you lie keep two pillows under head or elevate head end of bed.
After this I suggest TAB PRILOSEC OTC every morning before breakfast for 10 days.
Hope I have answered your query.
Take care
