Brief Answer:
You should get evaluated.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Firstly you took emergency pill correctly on 4th January and you have been protected for that intercourse.
Also your period come on 15 January.
The emergency pill works only for one occasion and not for other occasions.
If you had unprotected intercourse after 15 January there is possibility of pregnancy.
You took the pregnancy test at the right moment more than 5 days of delayed period so the test is accurate.
Most probably you are not pregnant but the emergency pill may have caused the delayed period.
You may need to visit a gynaecologist do another pregnancy test or better a bHcg and an abdominal ultrasound to get checked.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks.

Hi thank you for your answer. Since I took the morning after pill on the 5th of January I have had not had any sex. So am I OK to assume the morning after pill has just delayed my period!? When should I go further about it if I don't get them in the next few weeks /months

Brief Answer:
See details below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and thank you for asking again.
If you had no other intercourse after taking the emergency pill then you don't have any risk of being pregnant.
The morning after pill has made the periods irregular.
You can wait for another week and then visit a gynaecologist.
He may give you progesterone like pills for 7 days and period may come about 7 days after stopping it.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
