Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for consulting Ask a doctor service.
This is Dr. Priyanka tiwari answering your query.
I have read your query and gone through the images you have attached . As far as i have observed pain is due to periodontal problem . There may be depostion of food debris , plaque is subgingival region of gums below crown area of tooth.
For this i will suggest you to consult oral surgeon for subgingival curettage and in meanwhile Do warm saline rinses. Apply ointment on gums containing lignocaine and choline salicylate twice daily. You can take medicine like Novamox Lb with tab.Metronidazole and Analgesic tablet like Acelofenac twice daily for three days by consulting with local doctor .
Hope this will help you .
If you have further query i will be happy to help.

Yes , it might be due to food debris depostion and radiolucency (black spot) might be bone resoption or widening to periodontal ligaments (gingival fibres) . I will suggest you to consult oral surgeon for clinical examination and if there is deposition go for oral prophylaxis or curettage.

So you are thinking it might be debris in the black space between the teeth?under the gum line? I did have problems with resorption on another tooth ..could the black spot be resorption? Thanks so much!!
So what exactly is widening to periodontal ligaments..gingival fibres..do you see any sign of abscess?
Brief Answer:
Bone loss. No need to worry.consult dentist for oral prophylaxis .
Detailed Answer:
Hello ,
Welcome
Black spot can be due to interdental bone loss that can be due to debris or inflammation or widening of periodontal ligament ( fibres attached to tooth) . No there is no sign of resorbtion in another tooth .
As far as i have seen there is no radiolucency seen in apical region so no sign of abscess .
Hope this will help you .
