Question: My wife is found with calcified inflammatory granuloma in the left temporal lobe of 3*3mm size. (in her CT scan)
She has head ache frequently. Is the above observation is harmful and how she should be treated.
We have two daughters of 4 and 2 yrs old.

I have noted your wife's symptoms and CT brain findings. There is no need to worry, as the finding represents an old infection, and not an active infection. The most common cause of this finding is past tapeworm infection.
