since last 3 years due to covid thyroid TSH not checked
but in my last check 1 month back TSH thyroid value is 6.3.
after consulting Doctor changed the medicine eltroxin 100 in place of eltroxin 75.
my last check up (05/03/23)value is- 1.34
please suggest medicine?

Hi again

Considering your last TSH test result,i would say that you don't need to modify your Eltroxin dosis.
So i recommend to continue with 75mcg/fasting,every morning.

I also recommend to do a TPO test, to clarifie your thyroid diagnosis.

Since last 04 years Eltroxin 75 was taking by my wife SHRADHANJALI PATTANAYAK, T3 & T4 is normal,but checked TSH value of dated 28/12/22 is high (6.3) ,after consulting Doctor medicine changed to Eltroxin 100. Again TSH (thyroid value) checked on 05/03/23 & the value is- 1.34.(slightly higher then normal 0.3 -5.5). As per your suggestion If she will take eltroxin 75 again the TSH value will rise to 6.3 higher then normal range (0.3 to 5.5).

Please suggest medicine to maintain TSH thyroid value in normal range.(0.3 to 5.5) for longer period?

Hello

I appologise for the late reply.

Your detailed medical history was very helpful to understand better ,your wife's thyroid condition.

Considering the last TSH test result,i would say that the dosis of Eltroxin(100mcg/day) is OK.
There is no need to change the dosis for the moment.

My advice is to continue with the same dosis and to repeat a TSH test after four-six weeks.
Than we can decide better a stable dosis that maintain her thyroid test within the range.
