The treatment comprises, medications, shunt revision and other surgical procedures.

Abnormal cholesterol levels are dangerous as it increases the atherosclerosis of blood vessels and thus cardiac illness, stroke, peripheral vascular disease, vision loss.
Total cholesterol has many components like triglycerides, low density lipids(LDL), Very low density lipids(VLDL), high density lipid (HDL).
The cause for raised levels are dietary and genetic.
For good cholesterol control take proper diet , soyabean oil or rice XXXXXXX oil and get investigated .
