cause of rectal bleeding, particuarly in phase of constipation tendency and
certain food habits.
* The Qaudriderm cream contains
@ Betamethasone
@ Tolnaftate
@ Gentamicin
@ Clioquinol as ingredients.
It is mainly prescribed for the purpose of curing various skin infections
including fungal lesion, eczema, psoriasis, folliculitis and others.
Though it can help in hemorrhoids to some extent, it is not a routinely
preferred ointment as better options are available for bleeding
hemorrhoids.
* In my clinic, after clinical examination and confirmation of bleeding
hemorrhoids, I do recommend use of
Ruticool cream containing
@ Calcium dobesilate ( helps shrinking bleeding veins )
@ Lignocaine ( local anesthetic elps pain relief )
@ Zinc oxide ( soothing agent as sore skin is common accomplishment )
for best results.
* In addition to this, following would be helpful tips for you
- Sitz bath ( sitting in a tub filled with lukewarm water 10 minutes each
3 times a day, particularly after passing stool ) regularly.
- Strict diet control to avoid all spices, non veg, dairy fat, junk food if
consuming.
- Prefer more of green leafy veg, cereals, pulses, whole grains, legumes,
organic fressh fruits to get smooth bowel evacuation with plenty of liquids.
- Use bulk forming laxative as Ispaghula husk or Psyllium in case of hard
