What Is The Cause And Remedy For Pain In Finger Joints?

Question: I didn’t injury my hand. I had pain randomly start between the index and middle finger. Now it’s spread solely to the index finger and not between the joint. It hurts a lot . The pain increases when I straighten the finger or bend it . No visible swelling, redness, or bruising.

Thanks for the query. Its possible you have possible sprain, arthritis, trigger finger or infection.

Splint your finger using finger extension splint and get X-rays first to rule out any injury. If you have pain and trouble to straighten the finger then it could be trigger finger. Have you tried pain killers?

Thank you I have been icing it to see if that helps and it improved majorly.does that mean mostly likes a sprain? The pain is almost completely gonex
