Question: I am a 47 year old female. About three days ago after shaving with a dull razor I developed angry red bumps under armpit along with an itchy burning sensation. The red bumps are scattered around armpit a bit and very tender when pressed or when clothing rubs against it. It iis difficult to sleep at night due to friction. What is the cause and remedy?

Thanks for the timely reply. Is it typical for dermatiis to be painful? I have welt like inflamation in my arm pit and is very tender to the touch. Also how long does it typically take skin to heal?
