Brief Answer:
Floaters will not cause any problem.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care magic

I am Dr. Dadapeer K, an ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.

It seems from the history that you are having refractive error and you are using contact lenses for the correction of refractive error for 3 years.
The problem of seeing black shadows is called as floaters and this is not related to the use of contact lenses. But this can be seen in refractive errors like myopia.
Floaters are because of opacities in the vitreous which lies behind the lens. Floaters by themselves are not problematic and will not cause any problem. The common causes for floaters are vitreous degenerations which can be age related seen in elderly people and in younger people it can be secondary to refractive error, injury...
Floaters if associated with flashes of light or if there is sudden increase in number need evaluation to rule out retinal pathologies like retinal tear, otherwise no need to worry.
Floaters if problematic and interfering with vision are treated by vitreolysis by using laser. But this is not done commonly as floaters rarely interfere with vision.

In your XXXXXXX I guess these are because of refractive error. Do mention the refractive power of the contact lenses or spectacles if you know, so that I can analyze your case and advice you.

Hope I have answered your question and the information is helpful to you.

Thank you
With regards

Firstly, thanks for answering me doctor.
yes i do have mypoia,with power L(-3.00) R(-3.25).
I'm just having these floaters, without flashes or anything.
i have a few question and would really appreciate if you could answer them.
1)what could be the possible reason of getting these floaters?
2)Can i continue using contact lenses..as you said these are not related to them
3)any mediaction or any other dietary supplements that might help reducing these floaters?
4)I was thinking of getting LASIK done to get rid from myopia..so is it preferable in my condition to go for it...also i have heard that LASIK can cause issues in long run..please suggest.

Thanks

Brief Answer:
You can continue contact lenses.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for the follow up question.

If you are having only floaters without flashes of light, then no need to worry, theseare unlikely to cause any problem.

Coming to your other questions,
1. The possible reason for floaters is your refractive error and associated degeneration of the vitreous. You can get examination of the vitreous and retina by simple test called as indirect oohthalmoscopy for confirmation of diagnosis by consulting your ophthalmologist.

2. You can continue wearing contact lenses.

3.Medications and dietary supplements will not help to reduce floaters. But consumption of antioxidants and vitamin A rich foods will help for the improvement of general health of the eye.

4. You can undergo Lasik. LASIK is one of the proven and safe surgery for correction of myopia. The complications are very less and with proper evaluation these are almost nil. The common problem faced is reversible dryness of eyes lasting for few months after surgery, but this is reversible and need not worry about it. The other problems like over correction or under correction... can be prevented by prophet evaluation before surgery.

Hope I have answered your questions and the information is helpful to you.

Thank you
