Question: Doctor I am having some problem with my stomach and mind. I think I have gas problem and it effects my mind too I feel like hang over, I am disturbe while speaking, I forget words and things and also have severe heart burn

Hi, I am Dr Mittal. I have read your query. I think I would be able to help you. The symptoms of the query are quite suggestive of gastritis. Acute severe gastritis. The symptoms are easily avoidable if you take care of few things- avoiding spicy diet, non veg diet. Take plenty of fluids. Raising the head end of the bed also helps. Of course, the besat medicine for this is proton pump inhibitors like esomeprazole. The medicine is taken at a dose of 40 mg once daily half hour prior to meals. Your local doctor can write a prescription.

Sir would you kindly prescribe some medicine course apart from esomeprazole because the last Doctor suggest me some Pan40 and rebaprazole for 1 month but it was not curable. Especially my whole day goes in vain as I feel like hangover and my mind could not concentrate on my work, usually I forget very simple things names of people I know and Places . I am really suffering a lot and sometimes am ashamed in front of others . Sir please help me even tea and milk is creating problem. please prescribe some medicine for my cure.

My suggestion would be to try the other measures in addition to the esomeprazole.

Besides, if that's not fully helping it means that your gastritis is severe and I suggest that you request the doctor there for a prescription of sucralfate in addition to the esomeprazole. Addition of another medicine like amitryptiline may help you further.

However, these are prescription medicines and you need to meet the doctor face to face again for the same.

Sir sorry to bother you but I have just one more small query, how long will it take to be cured from this acute gastirics. I just sometimes have repeatedly pissing (toilet) and sometimes it burns also I checked sugar its ok but is it problematic. Especially when my digestion or toilet is not clear it happen S more. would look forward for this last reply. Thank you Sir for your suggesstions.
