Brief Answer:
post herpetic neuralgia
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query.
Probably you have developed post herpetic neuralgia.
Sometimes, in herpes zoster only pain and sensitivity is there and no lesions are actually seen.
I would like to know whether the pain and sensitivity is unilateral or bilateral?
Thank you

This is what I thought it might be, but was confused due to the lack of lesions. The pain is unilateral.
Brief Answer:
most probably zoster
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Lesions are not necessary. Unilateral pain suggests zoster.
There is a condition called as 'herpes zoster sine zoster" where no lesions develop and presents only with pain.
You need treatment with nerve reparing agents like pregabaline and methylcobalamine. Please meet a doctor and get them prescribed.
