What Is The Cause And Treatment For Pompholyx?

default
Posted on Wed, 14 May 2014
Question: I have noticed this rash for the second time on my foot this morning.

it started about 6 months ago. First I noticed them on the inside of my left foot. They are like non itchy clear fluid filled blisters under a deep layer of skin. They look slightly grey/silver. They eventually burst and leave behind patches of sore red exposed skin.
Each little blister lasted around a week and after about 3months there were none left.

My foot was totally clear until today. Now I have several of these on the middle of my sole on my left foot.

I also have tiny red dots that appear under my skin on my hands which are painful to touch or press.

The rash does not react/ bet better with steroidal cream, fungal cream or scabies cream.
No one in my family has it and it's not on my right foot.
Any ideas?

Ok. Thanks. Since then the spots on my fingertips are much worse, I am completely exhausted all the time and I keep getting shooting pains and pins and needles in my hands.

What could be causing the allergic reaction?

I have just found out I'm also folate deficient, but not anaemic, so could that have anything to do with it?

If I did have invasive candidiasis in the gut what would the certain symptoms be?
