What Is The Cause And Treatment For Procto-colitis?

Procto-colitis, needs antibiotic and metronidazole treatment.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read your history and understood your problems. You have gone to the bathroom 6-7 times with only foamy light blood coming is indicative of procto-colitis. This means infection and inflammation of the rectum and colon. This may be due to infection through something you have eaten or drank, can not be specified in every case.
I would suggest you to visit a Doctor, get a prescription based antibiotic and metronidazole, probiotic and symptomatic treatment for pain if you have.
If there is no complete response within 5-day course, you have to undergo colonoscopy and other relevant tests of blood, stool and urine.
Your mentioning age / gender and other relevant medical history might have helped me a bit..
I hope this answer helps you, please feel free to ask for more if you need to or if you feel there is a gap-of-communication.

Colonoscopy, Ultrasound and cysto-urethroscopy
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your feedback.
There may be some technical error that the you information you are sharing is still not visible to me. Read and understood that you are Female patient of 54 and Mother has colon cancer- died 6 years ago, you have been tested couple of years ago with blood in stool and you had polyp.
Anyways, with the history you have provided, It would be better to undergo colonoscopy and biopsy.
What was the report of the polyp.
I hope you must have undergone further investigations for blood in urine like Ultrasonography of the abdomen, Intravenous pyelography and Cysto-urethroscopy.
