Question: i am looking for a complete list of side effects of armour thyroid and over medicating over long period of time
i am looking for information for my wife
she is 53 and i witnessed very serious side effects i believe were from armour thyroid please help !
as i need this information ASAP as my wife has been placed on a hold (5150) very complicated situation again please help ! i need side effects from independent source ( not Drug Mfg. )

I have gone carefully through your concern.
Armour thyroid contains thyroid hormones ( t4 and t3) and the side effects are seen only if the patient has taken for many years high doses without checking the hormones in blood.
The chronic and more serious side effects of overdosage are;
-osteoporosis
- cardiac pathologies
The other symptoms ( such as; diarrhea, exessive sweating, insomnia, weigjt liss, agitation) are transitory and get back to normal after the dose is corrected.
But osteoporisis and cardiac hypertrophy can be permanent.
