What Is The Cost Of Colon Cancer Surgery For Open And And Laproscopic Both?
Question: What is the cost of colon cancer surgery? Open and laproscopic? Please suggest a good cancer surgeon in Hyderabad
Dear sir,
Thank you for asking your query at XXXXXXX Colonic cancer surgery would involve a hospital stay of atleast 4-5 days and would cost anywhere between 1.5-2.5 lakh rs depending on the hospital and the type of room you pick.
Laparoscopic surgery has certain advantages that is leads to less post-operative pain, faster recovery and minimal scars on the abdomen. The drawback is that it is more costly as compared to open surgery.
In Hyderabad, Apollo hospitals is a good center for the surgery and although I don't take the names of any doctor but some patients have had a good experience with Dr. Bhandari.
Hoping for the best. Please feel free to clarify any other query.

Dear sir,
Difference will be less than one lakh. It also depends on the hospital and the ward you choose. It is always better to discuss with the surgeon the chances that the procedure can be done by laparoscopic means because in the consent they will always explain the possibility of converting it into an open procedure.
Hoping for the best.
