Brief Answer:
1mg twice daily is the standard dose

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
Imodium is loperamide which decreases diarrhoea
Dose for him would be 1mg twice or thrice daily.
Stop it if stools normalise . Please note that this is prescription drug, and only on physical examination of the child, a doctor would be able to prescribe the right dose.
Do give him plenty of oral rehydration solution along with it to keep him well hydrated.
Wishing speedy recovery
