What Is The Dosage Of Thyroxine For Hypothyroidism?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
It should be 50 MCG and not MG..
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXX, welcome to HCM,
I've gone through your query and understand your concern..
Yes, good observation, it's not 50mg, it's 50mcg of Thyroxine for the hypothyroidism.. you can simply call your doctor up and get it corrected..
TSH of 11.89 is quite on the higher side and if this is the first time this investigations have done then you need to be under close and routine follow-ups of your doctor and serial check-up of Thyroid function tests from time to time and further titration of dosage of Thyroxine accordingly..
Also ensure to take the Thyroxine daily without any miss on empty stomach in the morning..
Let me know if there's any further queries..
Take Care
Kind Regards
