What Is The Effect Of Missed Dose Of Macox Plus Kid Medicine?

Question: My 7 year daughter took macox plus kid for 5 month still continuing medicine, but today her one dosage is missed which she taking early in the morning empty stomach. Can we give her that dosage after lunch ? and is there any issue if we missed this dosage ? Please Advice. Thank You!

Antitubercular medication is being prescribed in empty stomach to increase its absorption.When taken along with meal the absorption of medicine decreases.So you can give the the medicine after 2-3 hours of lunch. I won't get overly worried as already 5 months have been completed.Even if single dose is missed this won't affect the outcome of treatment.
I would suggest you to give her today's dose right now and next dose at normal time in normal dose.
