Vitamin A dosage
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic
4000 IU of vitamin A daily is safe during pregnancy. The recommended dose during pregnancy in areas where vitamin deficiency is not common like in USA is 4000 IU per day. However, doses more than 4000 IU is not recommended.
In developing world where Vitamin A deficiency is endemic, the maximum allowed dose is 10,000 IU per day.
I believe you are in USA. So taking 4000 IU per day will be sufficient.
